Little Princess Trust are a Hereford based charity providing real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss, and funding vital research into childhood cancer.

Grow together

Right from the first meeting with LPT we were on a mission to help them raise the profile of the brilliant work they do.

Established in 2006 by the parents of Hannah Tarplee, who was diagnosed with a Wilms tumour in 2004, they have provided over 7,500 real hair wigs to sick children and young people, aged up to 24 years across the UK and Ireland. In rebranding the charity we worked closely with the founders, keeping Hannah at the heart of the brand and working on a range of materials, from a royal wedding gift to donor campaigns and a custom built website.

Little Princess Trust encourage people to get sponsored to cut their hair and donate it to the charity, so they can use it to make wigs. Maintaining momentum with an ask like this can be difficult, also ensuring you can help people to maximise their fundraising is essential — post the rebrand, we worked with the charity on campaigns to encourage sponsored hair growth before the chop, extending the sponsorship window and building a strong community of hair donors and charity supporters.

As part of the brand toolkit, we created a suite of illustrated icons and emoji’s to help communicate key brand messages that the target audience would relate to and would provide the brand some unique assets for their social media campaigns.
